The hotel's location is perfect, right on Lake Michigan, close to restaurants, shopping, and tour boat docks. The rooms were comfortable and homey, although the hallway had an issue with mayflies. The service was very accommodating and went above and beyond, even including thoughtful gestures like a birthday card. The dining was satisfactory but lacked some options, and the hotel offered a good selection of facilities.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. While the rooms were clean and well-equipped, the view was not great, looking out onto a roof and the parking lot. The service, however, was exceptional, with extra kind and fun staff. The location, though near the beach, could be inconvenient for some being up a hill, but it was peaceful listening to the waves.
